Red jAK is definitely a one-of-kind product -- at least in its branding. Made by Big Red, we're not sure where this product fits into the market or who it's going after. What does the name mean? Maybe it's just us, but this product's red splash image and gold can look like somewhat like a Budweiser product. In any event, Red jAK does have a good flavor that is certainly worthy of being part of this category. It's sweet and tastes somewhat fruity -- almost like an apple flavor. Using sugar instead of corn syrup, it's much cleaner and doesn't leave a coating in your mouth. Still, we're just not sure if this quirky product will have market appeal outside of the value-oriented consumer. Overall, a good flavor that would be an above average product if the packaging were slightly improved.
