Sipp: Honey Pear

Sweetened with agave nectar and honey, the Honey Pear flavor of Sipp is enjoyable, but not for its honey and pear flavors. The dominant flavors inside the bottle are agave, honey, and green tea, in that order. The result is something that has an earthy and slightly grassy flavor to it, but is quite enjoyable nonetheless (especially since it’s a light bodied product at 100 calories per bottle). We’re not sure that adding more pear flavor would make this product better, but recasting it as “Honey Green Tea” might give it a more accurate name. From a visual standpoint, the product has a very polished and clean appearance to it. It relies more on implied sophistication than in your face graphics, which, for a product of this type, is probably appropriate. Overall, a well executed product that’s a nice alternative to typical CSDs.
