BevNET Review
Given that this is a tea and not a juice, Suja Elements’ Jasmine Tea is probably the most unique flavor of the lineup to date. And it’s a pretty tasty one at that, with jasmine tea, honey, lemon, pomegranate and tamarind being the only ingredients. It’s a little tart on the front end, with the tamarind, lemon and honey hitting your tongue fairly quickly. From there, the flavor of the jasmine tea is slightly tannic. Fortunately, the other flavors smooth it out quickly and the overall experience is enjoyable. Visually, the orange label is slightly harder to read than some of the other Elements varieties. Furthermore, the orange color doesn’t really signify tea -- so it was slightly confusing to us. While, conceptually, we like the idea of a tea as part of the lineup, it definitely needs some better explanation in terms of how the HPP/cold-pressed concept extends to tea and why a juice brand is making a tea variety. Overall, good concept and flavor execution, but we can’t help but feel as though the positioning and packaging could be refined.
