Suja Essentials: Essentials - Midday Thrive

This product, which is part of the Suja Essentials "1-Day Renewal" set (and currently sold as an exclusive at Target), is being marketed as the second “step” product in the three-product line. It has a pretty heavy apple base, but the juice, which also includes celery, cucumber, kale, collards, spinach, chlorella, and spirulina, has a big green flavor to it as well. Last, but not least, comes added lemon and ginger to round things out. If you’ve ever had green juice before, this one will probably taste pretty familiar. That’s not to say that the product isn’t enjoyable -- it definitely is -- but it’s not a completely original tasting product. At $3.99 for 12 ounces of organic, HPP juice, however, it’s definitely a very nice option. From the design perspective, we definitely like the overall approach to the Suja Essentials line. However, we still struggle to tell the difference between the many green juice SKUs that Suja currently has. We’d certainly say the same about this one. If it’s a “1 Day Renewal” that they’re selling, we’d like to see this better incorporated in the branding. Overall, solid execution and great value make this a product that is a worthy addition to the lineup.
