Sweet'tauk Lemonade: Mermaid (2014)

Sweet‘tauk’s Mermaid is a flash pasteurized lemonade that’s flavored with hibiscus. The flavor is light and pleasant, with a sharp citrus flavor that definitely benefits from the mellow floral note of the hibiscus. It’s nice to see something other than straight fruit flavors in the brand's lineup and this is one that definitely works well (some tea flavored lemonades would as well). However, it would be even better if you didn’t have to look at the ingredients list to figure out what “Mermaid” is. It’s definitely not that intuitive. Beyond that, this product, like its counterparts, needs some label work. Between the choice of fonts, the accent color, and the rotated logo it’s just too hard to read. Cleaning this up and making the label have some visual polish and pop would definitely help. Until then, we feel as though this would be an easy product to miss.
