BevNET Review
TEAse’s “Green Honey & Ginseng” variety is a blend of green tea, honey, natural flavors, citric acid, ginseng, and sugar. It’s a pretty standard -- and enjoyable -- tasting blend, especially with the use of actual honey. The green tea is quite smooth, while the sweetness of the sugar and the honey flavor help round things out. On the outside, the 16 oz. bottle has been given a full wrap, which makes it looks very colorful. However, calling the product “Green Honey and Ginseg” and having images of red berries (they are presumably ginseng berries) is confusing, especially since the product doesn’t have any added fruit flavor (and ginseng extract comes from the root, not the fruit). Furthermore, having “a wellness drink” and “natural metabolism booster” seems like a stretch for a product that is, in our opinion, ultimately about refreshment (it’s sugar and honey sweetened tea, after all). Overall, it’s a very nice tasting product and, if you take it for what it is, a solid choice when it comes to sugar sweetened green tea.
