BevNET Review
Despite the images of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and blueberries, this product tastes just like raspberry iced tea (the exact same kind you can find in a ton of other brands). While labeling it as Honey, Pomegranate, and Acai probably makes for a more marketable product, it has neither pomegranate or acai flavor at all. Fortunately, it still tastes good, with a pleasant base of green tea, a note of honey (there is honey in the formulation), and a palate-pleasing raspberry flavor to finish things off. And, if you take this product for what it is (sugary iced tea), it's a good choice as far as mainstream RTD iced teas go. On the packaging front, the full wrap that they've put on the 16 oz. PET bottle looks nice. However, we'd like to see the images changed to raspberries (again, it's a good raspberry iced tea -- why not sell it that way) and we think they should eliminate the "A wellness drink" and "metabolism booster" claims (be honest -- this tea is 160 calories and 36g of sugar per bottle). Overall, it?s a good mainstream tea, but they need to either change or back up their positioning.
