X o2 Uplift: Uplift

From the look of XO2 Uplift, we were completely shocked to find a cola inside of this can. And a pretty drinkable one at that, with a cane sugar sweetened formulation and no functional ingredients aside from caffeine. That said, this isn’t really an energy drink, but a cola with additional caffeine (65mg per can). We find it hard to believe that an energy drink consumer will drink this instead of an energy drink as it tastes too much like a soda. If they do buy this product, we suspect that they’ll be annoyed to find out what’s inside this can. Visually, we’re sorry to say that this design is a throwaway, with a plain white can and a meaningless and unappealing name in XO2 Uplift. We think they need to go in a totally new direction -- and one that includes prominent mention of the fact that this is a cola.
