XTC Guarana Power Drink: XTC

XTC Guarana Power Drink is a very potent and possibly harmful beverage (if you are a child, diabetic, or can't tolerate high amounts of caffeine...if not, you're safe). While the American version of this product is toned-down from the European formulation, this version sure is strong. It has a taste that is slightly bitter, yet has a somewhat subtle taste of citrus flavor. We were, however, intimidated by gasoline-like coloring of this beverage. It's an acceptable beverage, but we certainly wouldn't regularly drink a beverage that is "Not suitable for children, diabetics, and persons sensitive to caffeine." All this from a tiny 8oz. can! It needs a more distinct flavor...to cover up the harsh taste of the caffeine.
