MIAMI, Fla., – Euphoria Water Company, “Charity in a Bottle,” has signed a contract to be the exclusive provider of bottled water for the San Diego Sports Arena.
Committed to donating a minimum of 20 percent of its profits to charity, Euphoria Water is among the fastest growing brands to enter the bottled water category, and the only bottled water to have exclusive co-branding rights with four major national charities including March of Dimes, City of Hope, Special Olympics and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Under the two-year agreement, Euphoria Water will be the only bottled water sold at the arena and the brand will be highlighted on concourse signage to boost consumer recognition and communicate its charitable philosophy.
“California is our largest market and the addition of the San Diego Sports Arena to our roster of accounts is an exciting development,” said Bernard Werner, CEO of Euphoria Water Company. “Having Euphoria in such a high-profile venue will give our charitable partners greater exposure, allowing us to help spread their messages and increase sales and donations.”
The consumer recognition of the charities partnering with Euphoria is one of the reasons for Euphoria’s outstanding success. Instead of simply making a donation for promotional value, Euphoria Water prominently displays its charity partners’ mission statement and logo on every bottle label. These charity organizations are recognized by over 88 percent of all consumers and have over 13 million donors between them.
“Euphoria’s cause-related business model was very attractive to us for several reasons,” said Ernie Hahn, Senior Vice President and General Manager, San Diego Sports Arena. “They are a quality bottled-water that is competitively priced with strong and reputable charities supporting the brand. We are proud to be able to bring their product to the families that frequent our venue.”
The company’s cause-related business model has allowed it to build distribution and positive consumer awareness in several western markets, including Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and California. Euphoria Water is available at leading retail outlets including 7-Eleven, Save Mart, ARCO am/pm and many other locations.
