BOULDER, Colo. – IZZE Beverage Company, the leader in the sparkling juice category, announced today that 100% of profits earned by the company’s eStore will now directly fund Project Reach, a program that supports and creates education-based development for farm workers and their families in the communities where IZZE buys its fruit.
“Consumer requests for t-shirts and other merchandise prompted us to create the IZZE eStore, and based on its success, we enthusiastically made the decision to donate all profits to Project Reach, an initiative that is truly the heart and soul of our company” said IZZE CEO and founder Todd Woloson. “Now, through safe and secure on-line transactions, consumers can enjoy more of IZZE, and also help fund education-based development all over the world.”
The new online store showcases IZZE merchandise for purchase, such as t-shirts, cycling socks, hats, travel mugs, flying discs, as well as IZZE Sparkling Juice by the case.
IZZE Sparkling Juice, an all-natural blend of pure fruit juice and sparkling water, is free of caffeine, artificial ingredients, high-fructose corn syrup, and all other refined sugars.
About Project Reach:
In 2004, in partnership with the Global Education Fund, a non-profit literacy organization, the IZZE Beverage Company founded Project Reach, a program designed to bring educational opportunities to farm workers and their families in the communities where we buy our fruit.
Our two initial projects are based in Parlier, Calif., one of the largest white grape growing regions in the country. The first involved the donation of needed funds to Healthy Start Day Care Center, which exists solely to provide services for teenage mothers working to complete their high-school educations. All of the mothers who use Healthy Start are daughters of local farm workers. The second project was the donation of Spanish and English books and educational materials to the Chavez Resource Center, to help create a library in this newly-built farm worker community center. Upcoming projects include the donation of Spanish and English books, including text books, health education materials, and contemporary periodicals to the Raker Center, Mano en Mano, and the Training and Development Center, all located in or near Augusta, Maine, where we buy our blueberries.
