Alchemists Create Mana Energy Potion

Santa Monica, CA – Aaron Rasmussen and Eli Szasz clawed their way out of the tech industry to announce today that Mana Energy Potion, the premium energy shot for gamers, is now officially on sale. The 1.35-ounce energy shot is packaged in a traditional glass alchemical potion bottle that is prevalent in many MMORPGs, fantasy games, anime, manga, and in comic book culture.

Aaron and Eli were both overworked geeks in the tech industry and eventually resorted to energy shots after being pushed into twenty-four hour work days on a particularly nasty robotics project. Longing for the better days of relaxing and playing video games, they dubbed the shots “Mana Potions” and realized that it would make a great product. The formula took many, many revisions to devise a recipe that provided smooth energy for between 5 and 8 hours, with some testers feeling the effects for up to 12 hours. The citrus-tasting potion contains approximately 2 Red Bulls’ worth of caffeine as well as LTaurine, Glucuronolactone, Malic Acid, L-Phenylalanine and N-Acetyl Tyrosine. The alchemical concoction contains a potent punch of vitamins B1, B3, B5, B6, and B12, not to mention Vitamin C, which all add to the energy surge.

The drink has tested extremely well in focus groups consisting of gamers across genres,
from casual to hardcore. The gamer-founded company is targeting fellow enthusiasts who lack an energy shot to call their own. The shot is so potent, the company recommends that first-time users only drink half of the serving in the miniature bottle. The potion has no aftercrash because of its no-sugar formula and proprietary enzyme blend.

“It’s much easier to just kill boars in-game and take their mana potions than to make a functional real-life product, but at the end of the day we’re very happy with the outcome; so are the boars,” Aaron Rasmussen, director of marketing said.

“We actually drank dozens of different energy shots and beverages while developing this product which reinforced our assumption that there was room out there for an exceptionally effective and delicious one,” said Elijah Szasz, director of sales.

Mana Energy Potions retail for $3.45 per 1.35-ounce, glass bottle. Mana Energy Potions are available at www.manapotions.com and through select retailers.

About Energy Shots

Energy shots are a relatively new development that surfaced in the wake of the increasingly crowded energy drink market. Energy shots are very small servings of energy blends that are just as effective, if not more effective than, full-size energy drinks. They’re small, convenient, re-sealable and don’t fill you up like a larger 8-12ounce drink. Energy shots are usually under 60ml, taste awful, and make you feel jittery with an inevitable crash .

About Mana

“Mana” is a traditional term originating from ancient South Pacific tribes that is used to describe a magical life force. In modern video games it refers to the user’s magical energy, which can be used to cast spells such as fireballs, healing spells, or lightening strikes. The user drinks mana potions to restore his or her mana and continue casting spells. The concept of mana and mana potions also appears in fantasy literature, comic books, manga, and anime.
