Waialua, HI (Sept. 28, 2011) Waialua based Waialua Soda Works – a natural, old fashioned Hawaiian Soda Company – is pleased to announce that IZZE & Mix 1 cofounder, Greg Stroh, has joined the Waialua Soda Works Board of Advisors.
Stroh joins Waialua Soda Works after more than 20 years in the beverage industry. In 2003, Greg co-founded IZZE Beverage Company – sold to Pepsi Co in 2006 – and then co-founded Mix 1 Beverage Company, of which Hershey Corp. has a significant minority stake.
“We have admired Greg’s success with both IZZE Beverage Company and Mix1 and we know his experience and advice will be invaluable to our team,” said Karen Campbell, co-founder of Waialua Soda Works. “In addition to being great to work with, we know he will contribute greatly as we build our brand.”
“Waialua Soda Works is like a vacation in a bottle, people want to go to Hawaii,” said Greg Stroh. “What sets Waialua Soda Works apart from every one else is the Hawaiian ingredients and the spot on packaging. I’m looking forward to helping Waialua Soda Works overcome some of battles I’ve experienced through the years, and I want to help this brand grow.”
About Waialua Soda Works
Founded in 2003 by Waialua residents Karen and Jason Campbell, Waialua Soda Works’ recipes are inspired by the elements familiar to the Hawaiian Islands.
