Hint Launches New Tangerine Flavor Exclusively on drinkhint.com

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-- Hint, Inc., maker of the market-leading flavored still water, is excited to introduce its newest flavor: Tangerine Hint. Zesty, replenishing, and just a touch tangy, it’s as invitingly fruity as water gets, with zero sugar, zero sweeteners, and zero calories—just the true taste of tangerine.

Like all Hint flavors, Tangerine Hint is pure water infused with fruit essences that create surprisingly accurate flavors without any sugar, diet sweeteners, or calories. Tangerine Hint is available for purchase and home delivery exclusively on drinkhint.com, Hint’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) website.

At Hint, a core piece of our innovation strategy is to first launch new flavors exclusively direct-to-consumer—we saw great success with two of our most recent flavors, Grape Hint and Coconut Hint, which have been an immediate hit with customers since launching online last year—and later rolling them out to retail stores nationwide.”

“As an omnichannel business, we can leverage the strength of our direct-to-consumer channel to develop new flavors and get them to market very quickly using our online storefront. Once we prove a flavor’s popularity, we can expand our distribution from direct-to-consumer into traditional retail and foodservice. This has been a key driver of our omnichannel success.”

Hint continues to be an omnichannel leader in the beverage space. A third of Hint's business is sold online through its direct-to-consumer website, drinkhint.com, and through e-retailers like Amazon.com.  Tangerine Hint will be available beginning April 30, 2024, exclusively via drinkhint.com before rolling out on Amazon later this summer.  Tangerine Hint is sold in a 12-bottle case for $22.99 and is available for $18.99 as a subscription.

The flavored water brand is also available in over 20,000 brick-and-mortar stores nationwide, including premier retail chains across the grocery, natural, mass merchandiser, and club channels. Hint is also distributed through food service operators in airports, corporate cafeterias, and restaurants. Hint comes in more than 25 “true fruit flavors,” all of which are sugar-free and diet sweetener-free. The fruit-flavored water company has launched exciting new flavors in the past year, including Grape, Coconut Pineapple, Strawberry Watermelon, and Cherry Lime. Hint’s signature flavors include Watermelon, Blackberry, Pineapple, and Cherry, and the brand’s flavor combinations – known as “smashups” – are incredibly popular, including Peach Raspberry, Strawberry Lemon, and Blueberry Lemon.
