Kroger is the first to market LEVO and is now the exclusive in-store destination for one of its six flavors - Cosmic Punch.
LEVO is a new refreshing alternative to sugar-loaded beverages with an impressive 5g of dietary fiber, 5g of cane sugar and 30 calories in each 12 oz can. This May, the prebiotic soda launched six deliciously guilt-free flavors: Cotton Candy, Splice, Cosmic Punch, Root Beer Float, Orange Creamsicle, and Voodoo Cola. Each bold flavor boasts 80% less sugar than the leading soda with zero caffeine, zero aspartame, and zero sucralose.
The retail agreement has been long-anticipated, with Kroger being an early adopter of LEVO and actively involved in its inception since 2023. LEVO worked closely with the retailer to integrate its consumer and category data, meeting design and quality standards during the proof-of-concept phase to ensure a seamless partnership post-launch. Building on this foundation underscores the dedication to delivering an exceptional product from the outset.
Kroger’s adoption of same-day grocery distribution service, Oscado, has also enabled wide-scale expansion of LEVO into states without physical locations. This access is crucial given that 10-15 percent of customers now order groceries online. Further, the upcoming Kroger and Albertsons merger allows for expanded market reach opportunities going into Fall 2024 and beyond
