Monday Night Brewing announced this week that Rachel Kiley, who has worked at the brewery since its inception and served as Chief Operating Officer for the last five years, is transitioning her role to become the CEO & Co-Founder of Sneaky Spirits – the holding company that owns boutique booze brands including Sneaky Pete Spirits, Pedro Furtivo Tequila and Yacht Water. Kiley will continue to stay close to the Monday Night Brewing brand and team as a Strategic Advisor, and husband and Sneaky Spirits Co-Founder Peter Kiley will remain Monday Night’s Brewmaster.
"Rachel was the very first employee at Monday Night Brewing when it opened 13 years ago and - more than anyone - has lived and breathed our business, culture and values each and every day,” said Monday Night Brewing CEO & Co-Founder Jeff Heck. “We are extremely grateful for all she has poured into the business and her support of all of us personally. We’re also incredibly glad that this shift in her role will keep Rachel deeply connected to and around Monday Night Brewery, as we are a key partner, producer, and investor in Sneaky Spirits, and can't wait to see what the brand has in store under her leadership."
In her role as CEO & Co-Founder at Sneaky Spirits, Rachel’s full focus will go toward supporting the brands that currently exist under the Sneaky Spirits umbrella, as well as other innovations and brands in the pipeline – some of which will be introduced to market in the next year. Leveraging the skills and connections she acquired throughout her tenure at Monday Night Brewing, Rachel is well equipped to take Sneaky Spirits to new heights through distribution, relationship building, quality sourcing and product innovatio
“I have learned so much about the craft beverage manufacturing business throughout my 13 years at Monday Night Brewing, and am grateful to the Monday Night family for providing me with opportunities that have not only led to my personal and professional growth – but also inspired new passions,” said Rachel. “What started as an interest in craft beer and its community has blossomed over the years into a wider passion for distilled spirits and craft cocktails. While it’s certainly bittersweet to make this shift, I’m really excited to dive into this new category, and to continue connecting people through our quality products.”
With Rachel’s shift, Monday Night Brewing has tapped Clint Wood to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer, effectively immediately. Like Rachel, Wood has had a front row seat to the Monday Night journey from its early days, first at Atlanta Beverage and since 2020, as Vice President of Sales. In his new role of COO, Wood will oversee production, taprooms and the sales team at Monday Night Brewing.
