                   Blue Monkey® Expands Its Global Reach with Enhanced International Distribution

Long Beach, Ca. / Vancouver, B.C. Sept 1, 2024 – Blue Monkey®, a leading name in premium natural beverages, is proud to announce a significant expansion in its international distribution network. This strategic initiative marks a pivotal moment for the company as it seeks to bring its high-quality products to even more consumers worldwide outside of its North American markets.

Since its inception in 2009, Blue Monkey® has been committed to crafting beverages that combine exceptional taste with natural ingredients, resonating with health-conscious individuals everywhere. With this expansion, the company aims to meet the growing demand for its products across new markets while continuing to uphold its reputation for excellence.

Blue Monkey®'s expanded distribution network will ensure that its popular coconut water and other natural juice beverage offerings reach shelves in more countries, meeting diverse consumer preferences and dietary needs. This move also strengthens the brand's position in the competitive beverage market, leveraging its existing strengths in product innovation and customer satisfaction. Distribution increases in the U.S. market includes expansion of both Blue Monkey®’s coconut waters and sparkling juices into Kroger, Albertsons and Walgreens chains for 4th quarter 2024 and Spring 2025. 

As part of its international expansion strategy, Blue Monkey® has formed new partnerships with importers, distributors and retailers who align with its values of authenticity and health-conscious living. By prioritizing sustainable sourcing and production practices, the company aims to not only expand its market presence but also contribute positively to global environmental efforts. The brand enters its 4th year with Costco Domestic and Internationally and Sam’s Club China, this region’s largest mass retailer with Blue Monkey® being their Number 1 selling beverage.  Within the Caribbean, distribution commences for Puerto Rico and Jamaica with the new agreement with PEPSI P.R.  Kuwait Distribution continues into its 3rd year and 2025 plans are to add UK and Australia.

For late 2024 and early 2025 South Korea’s largest retailer, EMART and EMART Traders has added Blue Monkey® to its roster of organic coconut waters and sparkling juices. Expansion into Asia also includes Hong Kong based largest consumer goods distributor covering Grocery, Convenience and Foodservice across 8 countries in the region starting December 2024.

In addition to physical retail expansion, Blue Monkey® has seen substantial growth in its e-commerce channels. The brand’s online sales have surged, with a 200% increase in Amazon sales and a consistent 20% to 30% monthly growth in direct-to-consumer sales via Shopify.
