(Saratoga, Wyo.) – October 15, 2024 – Brush Creek Distillery, a small-batch craft distillery set in the one-of-a-kind epicurean center of world-renowned Brush Creek Ranch, announced today a limited-release Straight Bourbon Whiskey in partnership with Purdue for Life Foundation, an organization that helps Purdue students and alumni stay connected and give back. Brush Creek Ranch was founded by Purdue University alumni Bruce and Beth White, and this bourbon is a tribute to the White family’s ongoing support of Purdue. Bottles are available for online purchase now through Bourbon Outfitter.
“We are thrilled to unveil this special-release whiskey with Purdue for Life and to support the organization’s ongoing efforts to engage alumni and strengthen the community,” said Andrew Wason, Managing Director of Brush Creek Distillery. “Inspired by fellow Boilermakers, this whiskey combines innovation and sustainability with Wyoming’s rugged spirit to deliver a strikingly bold spirit, layered with rich flavors and a lingering finish.”
This exclusive Purdue for Life-branded bourbon is inspired by Wyoming’s untamed natural resources and aged seven years in select mature barrels. Hints of the school’s history can be seen on the bottle such as the price of $74.18 - a play on the year 1874 when Purdue opened for classes, and Aged Seven Years for the seven degrees offered at Purdue’s White Lodging - J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. The school, named in honor of Bruce White and the company he founded for their longstanding financial and in-kind support, is widely known for offering top-ranked programs in hospitality and tourism management.
Brush Creek Distillery, known for its craft distilling, blending, and trailblazing initiatives, opened in 2019 with the vision to share the inspiration and pioneering spirit of the American West with others. This is shown in its core line of small-batch spirits consisting of Brush Creek Gin, Brush Creek Vodka, Brush Creek Straight Bourbon, Brush Creek Straight Rye and through its special barrel programs such as this Purdue for Life Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Brush Creek Distillery products are available online as well as in-stores across Kentucky, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, and Indiana. This Purdue for Life Foundation special release is available online through Bourbon Outfitter and costs $74.18 per bottle. A limited quantity will also be made available at the Distillery in Saratoga, Wyoming.
