AUSTIN, TX – February 1, 2025 -- 70% of US families struggle to get their kids to eat healthy*, which rightfully so, causes parents a lot of
anxiety due to the long-term impact of poor nutrition on health and developmental progress**.
Jubilee’s – the first flavored milk sweetened exclusively with fruit and vegetables (patent pending) –
launches this February to provide relief to this important problem. An Austin mom of two toddlers, and
marathon runner, created it after struggling to get her picky eaters enough daily vitamins.
“The American Heart Association and American Dietary Guidelines*** recommend kids get between 2-3 glasses of milk per day, but my girls just didn’t like the taste. We tried conventional flavored milk, but couldn’t believe how much sugar was in it,” said founder Ashley Waldman, who’s dad has owned a beverage company for more than 20 years.
The USDA even threatened to ban**** flavored milk from schools, but compromised by imposing new
requirements for added sugar. Jubilee’s has 0 added sugar, and 50% (or even less) sugar overall than
conventional flavored milks, plus high protein and vitamins.
Vegetable juice and no sugar aren’t the only reasons Jubilee’s is more nutritious than conventional
flavored milk. The drink contains 45-100% Vitamin C (vs 0% in regular milk) from a special cherry extract
called “Acerola”, as well as 110% Vitamin D (vs ~15% in regular milk) from an algae-based vitamin D.
“I knew Jubilee’s had to be delicious for my girls to drink it, which is why I chose dessert flavors such as chocolate chip cookie and strawberry shortcake,” Waldman said.
The product launches at the same time as whole milk and organic milk sales increase***** and plant-based
milk shrinks by more than 5%. Consumers are returning to milk after many years of decreases as interest
in natural micros and “functional beverages” rises.
