CHAIN and Jameson Irish Whiskey Presented The French Fry Showdown for St. Patrick's Day in Los Angeles

Jameson Irish Whiskey and CHAIN House kicked off a new St. Patrick’s Weekend tradition, The French Fry Showdown. Guests indulged in an all-you-can-eat French Fry feast, themed to the Irish holiday, and paired with signature Jameson Irish Whiskey specialty drinks and cocktails such as the Jameson Minty MockRock Slushie, all while enjoying an immersive brand experience. Attendees had the chance to pitch their favorite French fry to a panel of judges as well as rate each French Fry offering, and at the end of the event, the winning fry was revealed to the excited crowd of self-proclaimed French Fry connoisseurs.

Attendees enjoyed a menu featuring a variety of French Fries, including shoestring style fries, (those cooked in beef tallow representative of the classic McDonald's style), crinkle-cut, waffle, curly, wedge, tots, and more. Four types of sauces were offered: Jameson Irish Whiskey BBQ, black garlic ranch, cheese sauce, and a secret classified sauce. Seasoning options included Hot Cheeto Dust, Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Cajun. Additionally, there was an off-menu animal station and a Caviar & Créme Fraîche Station paired with a custom French Fry Challenge x Jameson engraved ice luge.

The Jameson Irish Whiskey Bar offered a selection of refreshing whiskey-based drinks to pair perfectly with the French Fry offerings, such as the new Lucky Root (a canned Whiskey Root Beer made with Jameson), Minty MockRock Slushie (a minty, vanilla Irish slushie featuring Jameson Irish Whiskey), Harvard J Wallbanger, Nickel Pickle Backs (a can of Donna’s Pickle Beer with a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey), and the non-alcoholic Pi Day—a mocktail inspired by apple pie. Jameson was also offered with standard pairings such as Coca-Cola.

CHAIN is the World's First Gourmet ‘Chain Food’ pop-up featuring Chef-driven versions of chain restaurant classics like Friendly's, Pizza Hut, Sonic, McDonald’s and more, with incredible interactive and retro inspired elements throughout the space, appealing to the nostalgia in all guest experiences, founded by notable actor BJ Novak of The Office and award-winning Michelin Chef Tim Hollingsworth. Their in-demand, curated and themed pop-up concepts, tasting series and food festivals have developed a massive cult following in Los Angeles and beyond, with large waitlists forming around each exclusive activation.  

Talent and notables at the St.Patrick's Day themed Bash included CHAIN Founder and award-winning actor BJ Novak, notable social media personality David Dobrik, music artist Ryan Cabrera and wife Lexi Cabrera (WWE Star Alexa Bliss), as well as BRAVO’s The Valley and Vanderpump Rules star Brittany Cartwright withThe Valley’s Zack Wickham, Love Island star Miguel Harichi with Leah Kateb, actor Blair Redford, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, top College NFL draft pick Jordan McCloud, designer Jonathan Marc Stein, Skylar Erna, Natalie Noel, Brielle Barbusca, TV host Madison Brodsky, Sports host Ashley Haas, Heidy De La Rosa, YouTuber Jarvis Johnson, DJ Sebastian Topete, Kinya Claiborne, and many, many more.
