Chlorophyll Water, the pioneering plant-powered (yes, their water really is green) hydration brand, is proud to announce that Mitchell Krupp has officially joined as its first Board Advisor. Krupp brings more than 25 years of experience across the consumer, food, beverage, and wellness sectors, with a strong track record in scaling early-stage brands, raising capital, and forging high-impact partnerships. He was among the first board members and early investors in the breakout beverage brand, Liquid Death.
A highly respected voice in the CPG (consumer packaged goods) space, Krupp has played a key role in positioning numerous companies for long-term success through strategic advisory, investment, and deal-making—particularly in the water, wellness, and sustainability categories. He currently serves on the boards of Saint James Iced Tea and High Ground Chips, and has held past advisory roles with brands including Liquid Death, Malk Organics and others.
“Chlorophyll Water’s commitment to clean label, innovation, wellness, and sustainability resonates deeply with today’s consumer and the direction the market is heading,” said Krupp. “I’m excited to support the brand through this next phase of growth and help unlock new opportunities. What they’ve achieved so far—gaining national distribution and maintaining profitability in such a competitive space—is incredibly impressive. The runway ahead is massive.”
Chlorophyll Water is the first bottled water in the U.S. to pass the strict standards of the Clean Label Project Certification, tested for over 90 contaminants including plasticizers, heavy metals, and other environmental toxins. Chlorophyll Water blends ultra-purified water with plant-powered chlorophyll and essential vitamins A, B12, C, and D, and is bottled in 100% recycled plastic—reinforcing the brand’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability.
Since joining in an advisory capacity, Krupp has already made a significant impact, securing new retail placements across the country. He is now preparing to lead Chlorophyll Water’s first formal investment round.
“Over the last two years, I’ve gotten to know Mitchell really well,” said Matt Levine, founder of Chlorophyll Water. “He began as a loyal customer and early champion of the brand. Having him join as our first Board Advisor marks a major milestone—and he’s already playing a key role in driving momentum."
Chlorophyll Water is available nationwide at grocery retailers including Erewhon, Sprouts, Whole Foods (Northeast), Wegmans, Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres, and Meijer. Chlorophyll Water can also be found at premium grab-and-go destinations like Pura Vida, Maman, E+ Rose, Field of Greens, Matchaful, Juice Press and Parakeet Café, as well as fitness hubs such as Alo Yoga, Barry’s and Pure Barre.
