CHARLOTTE, NC — Resident Culture Brewing Co., a Charlotte-based innovator in craft beverages, is leveling up its cannabis-infused sparkling water line, Cümulo, with two major announcements for fans: the launch of its new e-commerce platform featuring subscription options and the debut of two fresh new flavors – Peach Tangerine and Mixed Berry.
Resident Culture is proud to be the first North Carolina brewery to create a cannabis-infused sparkling water. Cümulo is crafted with a blend of THC and CBD from natural hemp-derived Delta-9 and contains L-Theanine, an amino acid shown to support relaxation and reduce stress. An accredited lab independently tests each batch to ensure consistency and quality.
“We’ve always had an interest in producing alcohol-alternative beverages as part of our dedication to inclusivity,” said Amanda McLamb, Resident Culture co-owner and CEO. “We take pride in being welcoming as a brand and as individuals, and believe in the power of plant-based ingredients like CBD and L-Theanine.”
Now, the award-winning lineup is getting even more variety with the debut of two new 10 mg THC / 20 mg CBD flavors, available in taproom and online starting Friday, April 18:
- Peach Tangerine: A lively, citrus-forward refresher with juicy peach and zesty tangerine notes.
- Mixed Berry: A bold trio of blackberry, raspberry and blueberry for the ultimate berry burst.
“These additions are bright, vibrant, and effortlessly drinkable – perfect complements to our existing lineup,” says McLamb. “The non-alcoholic beverage category is evolving rapidly, and we’re committed to creating delicious, approachable options while ensuring we maintain our quality standards.”
Over the past six months, Cümulo has accounted for 18% of Resident Culture’s beverage sales, she says. While the primary consumer base has been millennials and Gen X, there is also significant representation from the 60+ age group.
To help meet that demand, Resident Culture has taken a major step forward with the launch of e-commerce and subscription services, marking a significant milestone as the brewery continues to expand its beverage offerings. This move reflects a growing trend among consumers seeking alternatives to alcohol.
“Hemp-infused beverages are a new category with more complex regulations across states, so the process to ship looks different than craft beer,” says Resident Culture co-owner Phillip McLamb. “However, since launching Cümulo, we’ve seen growing interest and inquiries beyond Charlotte, highlighting a need for wider availability. With the help of a third-party logistics company to assist with compliance, we’re ready to meet the demand.”
To make enjoying Cümulo even more convenient, Resident Culture will have subscription services for its biggest fans. Customers can choose from four quantities – four, eight, 12, or 24 cans – delivered every two, four, or six weeks, ensuring their favorite flavors are always on hand.
Pricing for four-packs starts at $17 for Tropical Punch (2.5 mg THC / 5 mg CBD), $20 for Pink Lemonade (5 mg THC / 10 mg CBD), $25 for Mango Lime, Peach Tangerine and Mixed Berry (10 mg THC / 20 mg CBD), and $30 for Pink Lemonade Storm (30 mg THC / 60 mg CBD). Quantity discounts are available, including savings on case purchases.
It is also available at Resident Culture’s locations in Plaza Midwood (2101 Central Ave.), South End (332 W Bland St.), the Market at 7th Street, and in select retail partners.
