Crafted at the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery, this small-batch expression marks an exciting evolution for the brand, delivering a richer, more complex take on the signature smoothness that Proper is known for.

Bottled at 86 proof and crafted from 100% malted barley, this 13-Year-Old Single Malt is aged in a marriage of American Oak first-fill Bourbon casks and European Oak second-fill Ruby Port casks. This allows for deep flavor extraction from both casks — with the Bourbon casks imparting sweetness, vanilla, and warm spice and the Ruby Port casks gradually layering in nuanced notes of ripe fruit, gentle tannins, and a touch of elegance — resulting in a well-rounded and complex final product.
