PLANO, Texas (May 27, 2025) — With a continued focus on sustainability,  Brother’s Bond Bourbon proudly announces the launch of its first-ever micro-batch single barrel release, a Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon, selected by 1 Hotels, a mission-driven luxury lifestyle hotel brand inspired by nature. The award-winning bourbon brand, founded by actors, longtime friends, and whiskey experts—Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley—is committed to sustainable craftsmanship, quality, and the spirit of connection. This limited-edition bourbon, crafted with 100% regenerative grain and aged for seven years, will be available at select 1 Hotels locations in the United States beginning in June.

This rare micro-batch release, hand-selected by 1 Hotels’ team of beverage directors—Steven Minor and Harrison Deakin—and meticulously crafted by Brother’s Bond Bourbon in partnership with North Carolina distiller Pete Barger, reflects both brands’ commitment to sustainability and their shared passion for crafting premium products with purpose. By utilizing regenerative grain farming, this bourbon not only delivers exceptional flavor and rich complexity but also supports soil health and sustainable agriculture.

Since launching in 2021, Brother’s Bond has shown a continued commitment to sustainability, with a portion of proceeds from every bottle sold being donated to Kiss the Ground. By embracing the use of regenerative grain, Brother’s Bond is leading the way to a more sustainable and environmentally-conscious industry while delivering a superior product that reflects the land and its stewardship.

“At Brother’s Bond, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s at the heart of how we craft, connect, and give back. We’re proud to highlight our ongoing commitment to regenerative agriculture with this new Regenerative Grain micro-batch release available at 1 Hotels,” said Ian Somerhalder, co-founder of Brother’s Bond Bourbon. “From grain to glass, Brother’s Bond Bourbon is rooted in nature, and we’re raising a glass to the planet with this 1 Hotels initiative that gives back to the earth and the communities that care for it.”

"At 1 Hotels, we’re always looking for innovative ways to elevate the guest experience while prioritizing sustainability. Working with Brother’s Bond Bourbon for this Regenerative Grain micro-batch release is a perfect example. It’s not just about exceptional flavor; it’s about supporting the future of agriculture and the planet with every sip. This initiative reflects our dedication to sustainability—because great spirits deserve to come from great soil," said Steven Minor, Corporate Director of Beverage at Starwood Hotels.

Brother’s Bond Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey - Aged 7 Years (95 Proof)

  • Color: Deep amber and warm copper highlights
  • Body: Silky, slow legs and full-bodied
  • Aroma: Caramelized toasted oak and dark cherry lead, with subtle honeyed grain
  • Taste: Ripe fruit, warm spice, and charred oaky tannins
  • Finish: Long and warming with lingering spice and a hint of leather

Available at 1 Hotels in the United States, this new Regenerative Grain bourbon micro-batch release will be featured in two sizes:

  • 750ml bottles for 1 Hotel bars, perfect for bespoke cocktails and neat pours.
  • 375ml bottles for in-room minibars, allowing guests to enjoy a premium whiskey experience from the comfort of their rooms.

This small-scale, hand-selected batch offers a rich complexity, deep character, and a long, satisfying finish, making it a must-try for whiskey enthusiasts and sustainability advocates alike. Each sip embodies the harmony of nature and craftsmanship.
