Bringing Better-For-You Energy and a Bold Mission to One of the Nation’s Largest Convenience Retailers
AUSTIN, TX — May 28, 2025 — CLEAN Cause, the Austin-based beverage company committed to supporting individuals in addiction recovery, is excited to announce its expansion into 678 7-Eleven stores across Texas, California, and Oregon. This milestone partnership significantly increases CLEAN Cause’s retail footprint, making its bold, functional yerba mate more accessible to convenience shoppers across major Western states.
Known for delivering better-for-you energy, CLEAN Cause’s USDA Organic yerba mate contains 160mg of natural caffeine and is available in both sparkling and non-carbonated formats. The lineup launching at 7-Eleven includes the brand’s top-selling sparkling Blackberry and Raspberry flavors, alongside growing fan favorites non-carbonated Mint & Honey and Lemonade & Tea. All SKUs offer consumers a clean, jitter-free caffeine source without the crash of traditional energy drinks.
“This new partnership with 7-Eleven and the launch of 4 of our most popular flavors is a major milestone for CLEAN Cause,” said Todd Bondy, CEO of CLEAN Cause. “It gives us the opportunity to bring purpose-driven energy to more consumers while accelerating our ability to support addiction recovery nationwide. We’re just getting started.”
Through its social impact model, CLEAN Cause donates 50% of net profits—or $250,000 annually, whichever is greater—to support recovery housing programs for individuals in early sobriety. To date, the brand has contributed over $3.7 million towards its mission and the CLEAN Cause Foundation, helping thousands on their path to recovery.
With this launch, CLEAN Cause enters one of the world’s largest convenience retail networks, further bridging the gap between consumer demand for functional beverages and meaningful brand impact.
CLEAN Cause is now stocked in grab-and-go coolers at participating 7-Eleven locations in major metros of Texas, Oregon and California including Austin, Portland and San Francisco.
