Lakewood Brewing Co. is having a pickle…ball with a special beer pairing event. Sweet and sour lovers are invited to pucker up with Lakewood’s first-ever Beer & Pickle Pairing Tasting offering four house-made gourmet pickles designed to complement some of the family-owned brewery’s favorites.
The culinary team will offer flights with tasting notes that include: Lakewood Lager House Pickle with Tajin paired with Lakewood Amber Lager, Curried Lakewood IPA Pickle paired with Lakewood IPA, Sweet & Spicy Thai Chili Pickle paired with Stubs Texas Pilsner, and Mango Citrus Pickle paired with Goddess Hazy IPA. Each pickle has been thoughtfully paired to highlight bold, tangy, spicy, and citrusy notes in every bite and sip.
Pairings will be offered from 12 p.m. until the pickles sell out, with the full selection of Lakewood beer and bites offered all day like its Bavarian Pretzel with Beer Cheese spread and Temptress mustard, and a limited time Chicken Pickle Ranch Flatbread with ranch, grilled chicken, mozzarella, Lakewood Lager house-made pickles and a buffalo drizzle.
