Hosted by the Beverage Trade Network, the Bartender Spirits Awards is an international competition focused exclusively on the U.S. bar trade. Judged by bartenders and bar managers, it helps on-premise buyers identify spirits that will succeed in a competitive and experience-driven marketplace. Brands are judged on mixability, taste, value and visual appeal, making it the most bartender-relevant award in the world.

Verità Vodka Italiana (SRP: $28) – Best Spirit by Value

Verità is a true all-Italian vodka, distilled from Italian wheat and Alpine Mountain water. Exceptionally smooth and pure, in part due to its unique distillation process, Verità is distilled four times, with the final distillation taking place in an antique, wood-fired bain marie still. Known as a Distillato del Bosco, or "distillate of the forest," it is made with local ingredients and infused with herbs and sugar through a long, complex distillation process.

Distilleria dell’Alpe Kapriol Grapefruit and Hibiscus Gin (SRP: $31) – Flavored Spirit of the Year

Kapriol Gin is a line of Italian gins based on a historic 1948 recipe, crafted using Alpine botanicals and traditional copper pot stills. The Hibiscus expression infuses pink grapefruit and hibiscus flowers for a bright, floral gin with citrusy depth and a crisp, refreshing finish.
