Award-winning canned cocktail company Tip Top Proper Cocktails announces Nick Reely’s new role as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2025. Current CEO and Co-Founder, Yoni Reisman, will step away from day-to-day operations and step into the newly founded board as Chairman.
“Growing Tip Top from an idea into a 10-million-dollar business has been an incredible journey—one that simply wouldn’t have been possible without our remarkable team,” said Yoni Reisman, Co-Founder and Chairman of Tip Top Proper Cocktails. “As the company matures and enters its next phase, it’s natural for a leader whose strengths align with this stage of growth to step in. Over the past few years as our Chief Sales Officer, Nick has proven himself to be exactly that leader. He is an invaluable force and the right person to guide Tip Top forward.”
Prior to his work with Tip Top, Reely served in senior leadership roles at Pabst Brewing Company, including VP of Marketing and Senior Marketing Director, where he was responsible for strategy, campaign development, and brand innovation for the largest American-owned brewery in the U.S. Since joining Tip Top as Chief Sales Officer, Reely has played a pivotal role in the company’s explosive growth—more than tripling their annual general market revenue between 2022 and 2024. He expanded Tip Top’s route-to-market from 5 to 25 states and built a national sales network that has led Tip Top to become one of the top 25 ready-to-drink brands in the country (based on retail dollar sales, per Nielsen IQ).
“It’s not how far Tip Top has come, but how far it can go that energizes me, said Nick Reely, CEO and CSO of Tip Top Proper Cocktails. “We have a great team, a clear vision, and a brand that is really resonating with consumers; we’re building something that feels very special.”
Since its inception in 2018 by Reisman and fellow Co-Founder Neal Cohen, the company’s Chief Brand Officer, Tip Top Proper Cocktails has grown into an award-winning brand, pushing boundaries in the ready-to-drink cocktail category. Enlisting the help of MICHELIN award-winning bartender Miles Macquarrie (Kimball House) for recipe development and James Beard Award winner Bart Sasso (Sasso & Co) for brand design, the team has created a lineup of true-to-form classic and modern classic recipes that have truly set the standard for excellence.
Most recently, Tip Top was named one of Food & Wine’s 2025 Game Changers for their accomplishments in shaping the future of food and drink. Tip Top has also received national acclaim and top industry awards, including 4 of the 9 spots on The New York Times’ Wirecutter’s Best Canned Cocktails list, many San Francisco Ready-to-Drink Competition Medals, including a Double Gold for Margarita and Best in Class for Jungle Bird, and six New Orleans Spirits Competition Medals, including Best Rum RTD for Jungle Bird and Best Whiskey RTD for Old Fashioned.
