Celt Salt, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nature's Pantry, a Southern California-based natural foods startup, yesterday celebrated the official grand opening of its new 5,000-square-foot warehouse in Paramount, California. The event marked a major milestone for the fast-growing brand, which, in a short 18 months, has expanded from a garage operation to distribution with more than 3,000 retail locations across the United States and Canada.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Celt Salt Co-Founders Brian Lizama and Ben Herrera, joined by U.S. Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán (CA-44), California State Assemblymember Jose Luis Solache Jr. (AD-62), Paramount Mayor Peggy Lemons, Paramount Chamber of Commerce President Alison Millette, and former Downey Mayor Mario Trujillo. The event, attended by community members, local business leaders, retailers, and supporters, took place from noon to 2 p.m. PST at the new warehouse at 7057 Marcelle Street in Paramount.
"This new warehouse is more than a building, it's a testament to what's possible when a family comes together around a shared mission of health and integrity," said Brian Lizama, founder and CEO, Celt Salt. "We started Celt Salt to make real, mineral-rich salt accessible to everyone, and now seeing our products in thousands of stores nationwide and in Canada is incredibly humbling. Today we celebrated not just growth, but the community that made it possible."
At the event, the company announced plans to expand its full-time team from six to more than 20 employees in 2026 and teased major new distribution partnerships set to be unveiled next year. Attendees sampled HydroCelt, the company's newly announced premium "clean" electrolyte drink mix made with Celt Salt, which is currently available for pre-order at a 20% off discount.
HydroCelt, which officially launches early January 2026, was served "on tap" and received enthusiastic feedback from guests. Authentic Mexican cuisine catered by Spanglish Kitchen, featuring dishes prepared with Celt Salt according to time-honored family recipes, was also a highlight of the afternoon.
In the spirit of giving back, Celt Salt partnered with the Local Hearts Foundation to collect new, unwrapped toys for underprivileged children in Downey and Paramount. Donations will continue to be accepted at the warehouse at 7057 Marcelle Street in Paramount through December 19, 2025, with distribution taking place the same day to ensure every child receives a holiday gift.
