William Chris Wine Company Announces Rebecca Caroline, New Sparkling Wine Brand Rooted in Texas Terroir

Hye, Texas (March 5, 2026) - William Chris Wine Company proudly announces the launch of Rebecca Caroline, a new brand devoted to traditional method sparkling wines made from 100% Texas-grown grapes.

Named for the combined middle names of co-founders Chris and Katharine Brundrett’s daughters, Rebecca Caroline is both a love letter and a promise—rooted in family, craftsmanship, and the next chapter of Texas wine. Thoughtfully produced and grounded in Texas terroir, the brand represents an optimistic and confident step forward for sparkling wine in the Lone Star State.

“As a family business, legacy is at the heart of everything we do,” said Chris Brundrett, Co-founder and CEO of William Chris Wine Company. “We grow, harvest, and craft wines with future generations in mind. Sparkling wine is one of the most exciting and fastest-growing categories in the country—and we’re bringing it to Texas. With Rebecca Caroline, we’re celebrating Texas grapes through the time-honored traditional method, while helping shape what the future of Texas wine can look like.”

The launch of Rebecca Caroline also introduces the R.C. Express Wine Club, a curated membership inspired by the Pony Express, offering access to limited sparkling releases, seasonal shipments, and exclusive experiences. Memberships are now open at rebeccacaroline.com.

This summer, Rebecca Caroline will open its dedicated tasting room inside the historic Hye Post Office on Highway 290, where President Lyndon B. Johnson swore in his postmaster general in 1965. The space will blend Texas heritage with a refined, whimsical aesthetic—honoring the building’s postal past while creating a sparkling-forward destination designed for gathering, celebration, and connection.

Guests can also experience Rebecca Caroline now through the R.C. Cellar Experience at William Chris Vineyards. Offered Friday through Sunday by reservation, this 90-minute ticketed tasting is the inaugural experience devoted entirely to Rebecca Caroline sparkling wines. The intimate cellar setting offers an early look at the program ahead of the dedicated tasting room opening in Summer 2026.

Rebecca Caroline represents a joyful new expression of Texas wine—one built on tradition, guided by family, and crafted with the belief that the best chapters are still ahead.
