Oishii Sake Expands Portfolio with National Launch of New Matcha Liqueur

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Kintsugi Sake LLC, the adult beverage enterprise behind Oishii Sake, today announced the national launch of its latest product innovation, Oishii Matcha Liqueur. The introduction of the new 15% ABV spirit marks the brand’s expansion beyond its core sake and ready-to-drink (RTD) lines into the liqueur category.

Oishii Matcha Liqueur blends ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha with a dairy cream sourced and produced by a Wisconsin-based farm that has been around since the 1800s. The formulation is completely shelf-stable, requiring no refrigeration after opening, with a two-year shelf life. The tasting profile features the characteristics of a vibrant ceremonial-grade matcha with earthy green tea notes, subtle sweetness, a smooth cream texture, and a clean finish. Developed for versatility in modern mixology, the liqueur is designed for serves such as the Matcha Martini, Matcha Margarita, and the Matcha Pina Colada.

"Both our COO, Peter Iglesias, and I have deep roots in the liqueur industry," said Buzzy Sklar, CEO of Kintsugi Sake LLC. "We saw an opportunity to re-enter the category with a fresh perspective and create something that felt relevant to today’s consumer. As we explored flavor profiles inspired by Asian ingredients and traditions, matcha came up as an idea and immediately resonated. As we began researching the category and evaluating consumer trends, it became clear that matcha’s momentum extends far beyond a passing trend—it represents a significant cultural and market opportunity. We see the Matchatini as a natural evolution of the modern cocktail landscape and believe it has the potential to become the next Espresso Martini."

Perfect for home entertaining or ordering at the bar, Oishii Matcha Liqueur is launching in a 750ml bottle format with an accessible retail price of $24.99.
