Jittery Joe’s Coffee and Goose Invite Fans to 'Fill Your Cup With Harmony' With New Coffee Collaboration
PRESS RELEASE posted by Jittery Joe's Coffee
Athens-based purveyor Jittery Joe’s Coffee and genre-blending American rock band Goose, which recently released its sixth studio album BIG MODERN!, are giving fans another BIG! reason to jump out of bed and (begin), with What A Day To Be Livin’, a limited-edition coffee release. The medium-roast, Guatemala/Brazil coffee, named after the band’s song “The Empress of Organos” from the 2025 album Chain Yer Dragon, brings a little love and rhythm to every morning. Jittery Joe’s and Goose invite coffee lovers and music fans alike to fill your cup with harmony, with What A Day To Be Livin’ available beginning October 15th. Oh what a day to be livin’!
With vibrant, engaging can designs long having been a calling card for Jittery Joe’s, the band tapped GUMBO Design Co. to deliver an elevated can in this spirit and reflective of Goose’s brand. Adorned with the empress offering up a hot cup of What A Day To Be Livin’, a plume of steam envelopes her, spelling out G-O-O-S-E. You can almost smell the cup's aroma, notes of praline and a touch of citrus-orange sweetness, before it cools to a lingering sweetness.
For Jittery Joe’s Coffee, collaborations have long shaped the brand’s identity, rooted in Athens’ music, arts, and creative culture, with past partnerships spanning musicians, local institutions, and community-driven initiatives across the South. For its Music Coffee Series, which largely celebrates the sound of the Classic City- including Goose, which made its Athens debut at Georgia Theatre in 2023- Jittery Joe’s has coffee releases with the likes of Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell, Kishi Bashi, Widespread Panic, and Monsoon, with others to come next year. A recent custom roast and branded can release with Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, the Fox Theatre Blue Sky Blend donates proceeds to the Fox Theatre’s philanthropic arm, Fox Gives.
Jittery Joe’s opened beside Athens’ legendary 40 Watt Club in 1994 and has grown from its original coffeehouse into a retail and wholesale coffee company with cafés across Georgia and customers throughout the country. The company continues to roast its coffees to order at its Athens facility using beans sourced from producers around the world, an approach that recently earned Jittery Joe’s recognition as one of Newsweek’s Best Premium Coffee Brands of 2026.
Jittery Joe’s What A Day To Be Livin’ Coffee will be released on October 15th in limited quantities, online and at all Jittery Joe’s cafes. For more information or to shop online, visit the Jittery Joe's site and follow along on Instagram at @jitteryjoescoffee.
