BevNET Review: Billed as a seasonal release, Boylan’s Shirley Temple is a great adaptation of the classic “mocktail.” They’ve really hit the nail on the head in terms of flavor, delivering a blend that has a nice dose of cherry flavor and a refreshing lemon lime base. The biggest difference being that this product will probably be consumed from a bottle as opposed to over ice and in a glass as it’s traditionally served. Otherwise, the naturally flavored product is a great addition to the Boylan’s lineup, even if it’s only for a limited time. Nutritionally, this is most definitely an indulgence product with 150 calories and 36 grams of sugar per serving (it’s sweetened with cane sugar). Visually, the classic look of the Boylan’s brand goes great with a flavor that’s as classic as a Shirley Temple. It’s a cleanly designed product that is easy to understand and certainly exudes quality. Plus, we like how they’ve incorporated “seasonal release,” although it’s not really clear as to why this is a seasonal flavor (Shirley Temple, unlike something like, say, pumpkin, is consumed year round). Regardless, it’s a fun well-executed product that is definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 2/23/2013

BevNET Review: If you’ve ever dreamt longingly of an Orange Creamsicle, go grab this product. Boylan’s has brewed up a great, barely carbonated soda here that will basically win your attention over all but the tastiest food. Here, the bourbon vanilla Boylan’s adds creates an assertive cream undertone that beautifully complements the two natural orange flavors and can sugar sweetener. In the classic Boylan’s bottle, this is an old-school soda. We can only imagine how good it would be with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.Reviewed on: 4/14/2005

BevNET Review: Boylan's Sugar Cane Cola is a beautifully bottled high quality cola that features a very refreshing flavor. Only good words come to mind when sipping this product -- clean, crisp, sweet. Of course, we didn't expect anything but the best from Boylan's and this product truly lives up to the great reputation that Boylan's has built for itself. In addition, be sure to check out the very unique Cane Cola four pack, featuring a cardboard holder that sits on top of the bottles. BevNET Review: Boylan's Black Cherry is a great soda -- Boylan's really has got it down when it comes to diet sodas. This one features a refreshing black cherry flavor and very little aftertaste. Using a blend of sucralose and acesulfame potassium, it's no surprise. BevNET Review: A diet root beer that tastes like the original full strength version? Impossible, but Boylan's has come pretty close with their Diet Root Beer. This product uses sucralose and acesulfame potassium as the sweeteners -- and it sure makes a difference. This product has a very light body to it (which is where it really differs from the original) and almost no aftertaste. This being said, we'd definitely pick this over other diet root beers we've tested. Definitely one of the better ones out there.Reviewed on: 10/10/2003

BevNET Review: Honestly, we were a little skeptical of Boylan's Diet Creme when it first arrived. No one has ever made a diet cream soda that hasn't had an aftertaste. Until now. Boylan's Diet Creme is by far the smoothest diet cream soda we've ever tested. We could honestly consume this product and forget that it's a diet product -- it really is amazing what new flavor/sweeteners can do. BevNET Review: Diet Cane Cola is a good entry into the diet cola category. Aside from not being able to figure out why a diet cola is in a line called "Cane Cola" there is nothing to question about this product. The flavor is very refreshing -- and the blend of sucralose and acesulfame potassium sweeteners get the job done. BevNET Review: We were first drawn to this beverage by its cool red color, but once we tried it....we realized exactly how superior this beverage is. It tastes like a mellow version of their original birch beer. It's much more creamy, however, and has less of a mint flavor, which makes it more easy to drink. BevNET Review: It's the Nutra Sweet Version of Boylan's Original Birch Beer. We were highly impressed with the quality of this diet beverage. It's not very sweet (always a plus with Nutra Sweet products...because you can't taste the horrible flavor of it) and it has a strong birch flavor that tastes just like the original. While it does have a very slight artificial sweetener taste to it, we must say that Boylan's has done a fine job with this diet beverage. Definitely give this a try if you like diet beverages! BevNET Review: It's plain and simple: Boylan's Birch Beer is awesome. The fine birch taste is very smooth and even has a subtle mint taste to it. That's pretty much what we look for when we try a birch beer. It was not overly carbonated or weighed down with excessive corn syrup. It was just so easy to enjoy this beverage again and again. BevNET Review: Boylan's Root Beer is highly refreshing and fully thirst quenching. Using sugar and/or corn syrup, this beverage has a relatively clean consistency. In addition, the flavor is sweet and has a very mild birch finish. This root beer is a top-notch beverage! This is the perfect addition to an already amazing line of Boylan's Bottleworks beverages. BevNET Review: Unlike many of today's gourmet ginger ales, Boylan's is not overly dry and spicy. They have taken a different approach which results in a flavor that is very sweet and easily drinkable. We also were impressed by the green glass bottle that was used in this product. Unlike many of the cobalt blue bottles that are used today, the green glass creates an old-fashioned and classy type of beverage.
