Founded in 2001 by Lance Collins and based in Englewood, NJ, FUZE is the pioneer in the "Smart Age" beverage category. FUZE is currently available in 18 different flavors, over four different platforms, all infuzed with great taste and essential vitamins. The four platforms are Refresh, Slenderize, Teas, and Vitalize. All FUZE beverages are fortified with 100% of the daily requirements for the vitamins and minerals listed on each label.

BevNET Review: Banana Colada Fuze has a flavor that is both creamy and smooth and preserves a bit of that classic tropical flavor that you'd expect to find in a smoothie bar. Specifically, the flavors of the milk and banana puree combine quite nicely with the apple juice, sugar/crystalline fructose, and natural flavors. The slightly sweet flavor has several different fruit accents to it (we like the coconut the best) and kept us coming back for more.Reviewed on: 8/20/2008

BevNET Review: This is yet another hard-to-classify-but-strangely delicious product from the house of Fuze. It’s kind of a mix of water, milk, juices, purees and banana-strawberry flavor that is basically a smoothie, although maybe it’s a juice drink or even a dairy product. Whatever it is, it’s got a nice banana/strawberry flavor and a creamy but chuggable consistency that we really enjoyed. With its typically confusing Fuze shrink-wrapped glass bottle and dancing fruit images, we fall to our usual criticism of this stuff – most buyers will have no idea what it is. BevNET Review: This mango-flavored tea has a nice, crisp sweetness level derived from a mixture of crystalline fructose and mango flavor, but it washes out all but the faintest taste of tea while doing so. We love the beige bottle and with tea leaves and mango on the label; it’s very elegant. But we’re not sure why it would say “3 Servings of Vegetables” on the bottle with regard to antioxidants – we think it’s likely to make people think they’re getting a vegetable juice, a much smaller market.Reviewed on: 8/24/2006

BevNET Review: The latest addition to the FUZE lineup is Diet Green Tea, which also features orange and ginger flavors. The flavor is good, but has a sweetener aftertaste to it. The orange and ginger flavors help mask this, but aren't strong enough to hide it completely. Overall, it's a pleasant and refreshing flavor. The added benefit of having antioxidant capacity equal to 3 servings of vegetables makes this no calorie, no carb beverage worth a shot.Reviewed on: 6/23/2005

Tangerine Grapefruit - Slenderize

BevNET Review: For its category (that class of very-low calorie, very-low carbohydrate drinks that come packed with “good for you” ingredients) this isn’t bad stuff. Sure, you can’t taste much of either tangerine or grapefruit in the mix, but the blend is still fairly crisp and smooth. It isn’t overly sweet and could be the kind of thing you’d down pretty easily if you wanted something flavored and light to drink, and the wide mouth twist-off opening really helps it flow. The 18-oz Fuze bottle doesn’t let you see its orange-tinged contents, which is probably for the best, as it looks a lot like bug juice, but all in all, it’s not the worst high-Chromium, high L-Carnitine, high Citrimax, high Vitamin C product out on the market. BevNET Review: Strawberry Guava is a new addition to Fuze's Healthy Infuzions line. The same flavor had already been available in the company's low-carb Slenderize line. This product is very sweet, with very little tartness/sourness to balance the flavor. BevNET Review: Orange and mango, two great tastes that go great together. Well at least they do in Orange Mango Focus, a new addition to the Fuze line-up. BevNET Review: FUZE Green Tea is a light and refreshing green tea beverage that contains the same antioxidant capacity as 3 servings of vegetables (measured using ORAC). Aside from this, FUZE Green Tea is an extremely refreshing and easy to drink beverage. The flavor is mild and doesn't have that green tea aftertaste that green tea typically has. BevNET Review: FUZE is the latest company to create a beverage with one of today's most popular ingredients: white tea. While many people are skeptical of the quality (as well as the marketability) of such products, FUZE's White Tea definitely has potential. Aside from the fact that it uses a good blend of ingredients, the product actually tastes quite good. However, this is not a product for those of you looking for strong tea flavor. Using white tea solids and white tea extract definitely does not yield a flavor that is as strong as real brewed tea -- but it does keep the costs reasonable. The result is a product that has a good balance of white tea flavor and the sweet flavors of honey and orange & ginger flavors and is sweetened with crystalline fructose. Overall, a smooth, relaxing beverage that is a nice timely addition to the FUZE line -- and it will undoubtedly do well if the white tea craze continues.Reviewed on: 12/9/2004

BevNET Review: FUZE Diet White Tea with Pomegranate flavor is a refreshing, well-executed beverage. It’s ace-k/sucralose sweetener blend combines nicely with the pomegranate and white tea. The flavor is mild with a sweet finish. The drink definitely captures the flavor of pomegranate and the delicate taste of white tea. While this isn't a beverage for tea purists, it's definitely a refreshing mainstream zero-carb/tea hybrid. We're not sure what the market potential is for a no-carb pomegranate/white tea, but this beverage certainly will give consumers who do try it reason to come back.Reviewed on: 9/9/2004

BevNET Review: Blackberry Grape Energize is some good stuff. If you aren't drawn in by the pear and blackberry flavors alone, you'll definitely be drawn in by the smooth consistency and clean finish to this product. Either way, our panel found this product to have a very nice balance between the fruit flavors. Also, FUZE has gone through great lengths to make this product the highest quality that it can be by using cyrstalline fructose (on the back of the label, you'll notice the "HFCS" icon with the line through it) and they've added several vitamins and herbal ingredients to further improve the benefits of this product. BevNET Review: Exotic Punch is FUZE's take on your traditional fruit punch. Of course this means that it does not have high fructose corn sryup and it has plenty of good stuff added into it. Aside from the 11% fruit juice (orange, aronia, pineapple), this product has ginseng, guarana, and several B vitamins to help give something back to your body while you enjoy the sweet fruit flavor. The taste is good but the finish is slightly off. Specifically, it just has a slightly herbal taste to it -- but it's not something that would keep us from trying this product. Overall, it's a good product that is definitely a better choice than some of their competition but the finish could use a little improvement.Reviewed on: 8/5/2003

BevNET Review: Mojo Mango (which is part of the Energize line) is a an orange mango flavored juice beverage that has been enhanced with ginseng, guarana, vitamin C, vitamin B3, and vitamin B12. The result? A well balanced product that has a very refreshing taste that's a bit more "adult" than some of the other orange mango flavors on the market today. BevNET Review: LemonAID is a nice "classic lemonade" with some not-so-classic ingredients. Specifically, this product has a blend of fructose crystals and sucralose which results in a lighter profile and fewer carbs and calories. This is a great flavor to do this with as the sharp citrus flavor nicely hides the user of the artificial sweetener. We're not quite sure exactly what causes this, but the use of acesulfame potassium, Citramax, and Chromium would be our prime suspects. If you can get past this, you've got a pretty good drink ahead of you. Otherwise, we recommend that Fuze tweak this a bit.
