Since our very first production of HEMP on October 26th, 1996 we experience the same reaction over and over again: HEMP, a real soft-drink with hemp? What is it? Can you do that? Is this real?? Of course we can. Because in 1995 the prohibition of the hemp-cultivation was suspended. Over 26 different sorts of hemp can be grown by the farmers, but only after the famers-approval by the Bundesanstalt fÃ¼r Landwirtschaft und ErnÃ¤hrung (Federal Bureau of Agriculture and Food). Each variety contains the maximum amount of 0,3% tetrahydrocannabinole (THC).

BevNET Review: We have mixed feelings on this product. On the one hand, the flavor is relatively refreshing. It's a light citrus flavor that has a bit of an herbal-like finish -- definitely better than many of the energy drinks on the market today. On the other hand, this product has packaging, whether intended or not, that is very suggestive of hemp's other use. Specifically, the large leaf and phrases such as "spiritual lift" make us wonder about how this drink is being marketed. Anyway, we'll still give it good marks as what's in the can is unique and full of flavor.Reviewed on: 1/24/2006
