BevNET Review: This is not your ordinary beverage. From its foggy white color, to its fresh and spicy aroma, Asian Spice Ginger Brew has a style all its own. The flavor comes from a variety of different sources, including sage honey, vanilla beans, blackberry root, ginger root, and pure cane sugar, so there really isn't another flavor to compare this beverage to. We can tell you that this beverage is strong and spicy, so sip it slow. As a nice side effect, it gave us that stomach settling effect that ginger is often known for. This would not be the type of beverage that we would want to purchase everyday, but it would make a nice treat on the occasion when we need a beverage with just the right amount of spice. BevNET Review: This birch beer is truly a masterpiece. It uses tree-tapped Alaskan birch syrup, unrefined pure cane sugar, bark, herbs, berries, and spices to create an all natural and fresh brewed flavor. Borealis Birch Beer is a smooth, refreshing, and easy to drink birch beer. It does have a subtle bite (possibly from the spices and herbs), but it is not in any way overpowering or overdone. BevNET Review: This is really not your ordinary beverage. Siberian Sun Ginseng Brew has an almost black color and a flavor that smells and tastes like some sort of sweetened vegetable concoction. Its ingredients include: Siberian ginseng, cinnamon, unrefined cane sugar, whole rice syrup, damiana leaf, and mixed herbs. The flavor is sweet, but as stated before, it seems to have some sort of vegetable-like flavor. This beverage is just too out of the ordinary for us to repeatedly purchase. Once again, it might make an interesting treat when we are looking for some sort of offbeat or herbal product, but other than that, we would not choose this beverage. Reviewed on: 5/31/2001

BevNET Review: Journey Twisted Bean Vanilla Brew is a truly superior beverage. It is made with a real brewed formula that is flavored with real crushed vanilla beans and pure cane sugar. While this might be an expensive product, it is the smoothest and creamiest cream soda in existence. The flavor is full of real rich vanilla flavor. It's not overly carbonated or syrupy (since the use of syrup is very minimal in this product) and it is 100% refreshing. This beverage deserves to be called nothing less than divine.
