BevNET Review: First off, we want to clear the air about one of the ingredients in this drink, Horny Goat Weed Extract. We're not quite sure if this will attract or scare off consumers, but the name alone needs a quick explanation. Horny Goat Weed, also known as an Epimedium plant, is an herbal extract that dates back to ancient China and is known for increasing libido and energy levles. Granted, it's not an FDA evaluated ingredient and there are only 30mgs, but what else is new with energy drinks. As for the taste, we like the light citrus flavor of this product. It also has a nice bite to it that helps to hide any aftertaste that might result from some of the ingredients. Overall, a very fine tasting energy drink and we like the new packaging.Reviewed on: 3/10/2003
