Sarsaparilla

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review: Sioux City Sarsaparilla is very similar in flavor to the Sioux City Root Beer that is part of the same brand. The main difference is that the Sarsaparilla has a more creamy body to it. This being said, we prefer the Sarsaparilla over the Root Beer. Despite using high fructose corn syrup, this product has a very high quality taste to it. The sweet flavor is very satisfying and it has a nice vanilla-cream finish. The label features an attractive nostalgic theme. Overall, a well done product. Reviewed on: 1/21/2005

Orange Cream

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review: Sioux City Orange Cream Soda was our least-favorite flavor of the brand. Aside from being a somewhat tired concept, this product tastes a bit too syrupy and sweet. The orange cream flavor is decent, but nothing really stands out in this product. Reviewed on: 1/21/2005

Cream Soda

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review: Sioux City Cream Soda is a sweet, creamy beverage that has a nostalgic, Wild West theme. The flavor of the product is good and the use of high fructose corn syrup actually helps the beverage's creamy consistency. Using higher end ingredients (such as real vanilla bean, for example) would definitely help the quality of this product, but it still provides a solid alternative to other comparable cream sodas. Root Beer

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review: Sioux City Root Beer is a sweet tasting root beer that has a relatively creamy body. This product has a very high calorie / carb count, which may sway some consumers from purchasing this product. However, the overall quality of this product is definitely good and root beer drinkers will generally be pleased. A switch to cane sugar and/or the addition of a bit more mint to the finish would definitely help improve the product. Finally, appreciate the clean design of the bottle which offers an appealing, nostalgic theme.Reviewed on: 1/21/2005

Ginger Beer

Product Type:Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Container: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review: Next to the Sarsaparilla, Sioux City Ginger Beer is our second favorite flavor of this brand. Featuring a moderately spicy flavor, this product is quite enjoyable. It's sweet and has (aside from a slight corn syrup note) a clean and flavorful body. Also, we feel that this flavor of Sioux City has the most attractive and appealing label design. Overall, this product is definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 1/21/2005
