BevNET Live: Bader Alam on “Untold Strategies” for Raises and Exits

In speaking with prospective investors, understanding the investor’s point-of-view can go miles towards securing a deal. To get inside the head of at least one seasoned financer, BevNET editor-in-chief Jeff Klineman sat down at BevNET Live Summer 2024 with Bader Alam, founding and managing partner of Full Frame Growth Partners and a past partner at CAVU Venture Partners to discuss his approach to the fundraising process and how investors view brands.

In this video, Alam talks about the right time for brands to approach institutional investors, how he helps brands set their long term goals and what entrepreneurs don’t think about when they deliver their fundraising stories.

“When you’re raising capital you’re always thinking about the outbound of your needs for capital and the uses of that capital,” Alam said. “The investors are in risk-mitigation, risk-return business. So any investor you’re talking to you really have to understand how they think about risk-return.”
