Kiki Milk Adds Sprouts, Closes Series Seed

Kiki Milk, maker of an organic plant-based milk line marketed to children and families, is extending its brick-and-mortar footprint with 440 Sprouts Farmers Market locations across the country.

The announcement comes on the heels of closing a $4 million series seed funding round led by B2 Partners, which the company said would go towards growing its availability in the U.S. market, including with Sprouts and Wegmans.

The brand is now rolling out its 32 oz. Original, Chocolate and Unsweetened flavors into Sprouts stores, with an MSRP of $6.99 per bottle.

“Expanding into Sprouts Farmers Market is a pivotal moment for Kiki Milk,” said Alex and Lauren Abelin, co-founders of Kiki Milk parent company PlantBaby, in a statement. “This partnership allows us to bring our nutritious and organic plant-based milk to even more families prioritizing clean-label and sustainable choices. We’re proud to align with Sprouts’ commitment to health and wellness, and we look forward to becoming a staple in households across the nation.”

Kiki Milk first launched online in December 2021 via direct-to-consumer, Thrive Market and Amazon.

The company previously raised $4 million in financing in 2022, and at the time the founders told BevNET they wanted to focus on the natural channel with a retail rollout, with mass and conventional accounts to ideally follow.

Alex and Lauren Abelin told Green Queen this month that the company achieved $4.8 million in revenue in 2024, and would be prioritizing retail distribution with the latest financing, as well as new innovation and expanding its team.
