- Despite having experienced a decline in value trend vs YA, Spirits brought the most value to Total BevAl over the L52 weeks, having held the largest share of $ sold.
- Whiskey remained the #1 Spirit category, while Tequila led in $ market share growth, driven by improved sales by value across both periods.
- Supported by distribution uplift over the quarter, American Whiskey led among subcategories in value share growth. To reverse downward trends, mitigating value RoS challenges is crucial.
- Tequila Reposado was the best-selling Tequila subcategory over the quarter. To counteract the declining trends of Tequila White Silver, addressing value RoS challenges is key.
- All Rum subcategories experienced declining trends vs YA, driven by a downward trajectory in value RoS over the quarter. Gold Rum, in particular, faced the steepest declines due to significant distribution challenges across the Total US.
- Flavored Vodka, the leading share-gaining subcategory of Vodka, experienced growth across all metrics, outperforming the category in trends. This success was driven by value RoS and distribution growth across the total US.
