A-GAME Beverages: Strawberry Lemonade

The Strawberry Lemonade flavor of A Game is a mainstream-oriented sports drink that features sea salt, honey and B vitamins. From a flavor perspective, it’s not that far off from being a traditional sports drink flavor; it’s almost like a cross between lemon lime and fruit punch flavors. It’s very mellow and easy to drink, although we wish that the added clover honey made its way into the flavor a bit more. Like most sports drinks, it finishes up with a salty note, which definitely helps lure you back in for another sip. To that end, we found it pretty hard not to finish the whole bottle. As for the drink’s packaging and branding, it uses a pink accent color and the same template as the other A Game flavors. The product has a technical vibe to it, which is furthered by the label of “cross functional beverage.” Really though, this is a sports drink, and we’re still not completely sold on leaving that off the label. Overall, this is a nice line extension for A Game, but, being completely honest, it feels a bit too similar to the other flavors in the line.
