Review: Lemon Lime

Of the three flavors of Blu Energy Drink, the Lemon Lime flavor is the only one that in any way feels like an original effort. However, its flavor (which appears to be a stock flavor) is pretty much on par with a lemon lime CSD, which might undermine its credibility as an energy drink. Furthermore, the bright green color of the liquid is a bit much -- a lighter shade or clear color would be preferred. Visually, we still aren’t overly fond of Blu and their Lemon Lime variety is no different. It feels dated and feels uninspired, while the execution of the design lacks something when it comes to cleanliness. Overall, this is a slightly below average energy drink offering.
