Review: Bee Good (Apple)

The "Good" variety of blends apple and honey flavors in a flavored water beverage. While apples and honey aren't exactly peanut butter and jelly, the blend is an enjoyable one, offering natural apple and honey flavors. Both of those ingredients have been used in the product (rather than exclusively relying upon flavors) and this appears to make a difference. Otherwise, the product has natural flavors, citric acid, and elderberry extract concentrate (for color) -- there are no other sweeteners used. The result is a very light and enjoyable formulation that's focused on refreshment rather than functionality. Packaging is well designed and considering that this is the company's freshmen effort, it looks remarkably complete. The bee graphic has tremendous appeal to the eye, and the two tone color scheme and front panel placement of the USDA Organic logo certainly add to it. Our only criticism is that the Bee Good logo and the Deluxe Honeydrop text compete with one another, which might create confusion over what the brand's name is (at least when only one bottle or flavor is present). Overall, refreshing look and flavor, both of which are off to a great start.
