BevNET Review
We’re always delighted to try an energy drink in a glass bottle, but despite the original appearance – it looks a lot like a longneck beer -- this product obviously draws most of its taste inspiration from the market leader. The use of cane sugar as the sweetener rather than high fructose corn syrup gives it a slightly sweeter taste and smoother finish, as well as a bit less chemical burn, but otherwise, it tastes like what we’ve come to call “essence of energy drink.” Given its polysyllabic name and beery appearance, the age bracket for this seems to skew a little higher than the average energy product; let’s hope they sophisticate the taste the next time around.
