BevNET Review

In terms of flavor, the Mixed Berry flavor of Green Mustache is pretty close to being a “Blueberry” flavor, but we’re not complaining. The product’s thick body is definitely big on berry flavor, with banana being a close secondary flavor. Despite the fact that the company has added coconut water, chia and leafy greens, you really can’t taste those ingredients (aside from at the finish). Now if this drink were for adults, that might be a bad thing, but since it’s for kids, we’re glad they remain pretty much hidden. Not that adults won’t like the beverage -- the product definitely has a very mainstream flavor. The product is pasteurized, but requires refrigeration, putting it up against the Naked and Odwalla juices of the world. Fortunately for Green Mustache, its branding and package design are superior, especially when it comes to something that appeals to kids and parents. We really like how the company has executed the Green Mustache branding, utilizing a trendy icon, but still managing to give the product a very polished and appealing design. Overall, another solid flavor from Green Mustache.
