Sipp: Zesty Orange

Sipp’s Zesty Orange is a USDA Organic soda that’s flavored with blood orange, lime and jalapeno. That last ingredient is sure to catch some attention, and it’s definitely what sets this product apart from a flavor perspective. With a modest amount of sweetness (22g of sugars per 12 oz. bottle) and carbonation, the product starts out in similar fashion to Sipp’s other flavors. From there, you’ll taste notes of the blood orange and lime, while the spice from the jalapeno hits your tongue at the finish. Sipp has used the ingredient very sparingly and, as a result, the spice doesn’t linger or overwhelm your palate. Even if you don’t like spicy food or beverages, this is definitely a drinkable product. From our perspective, this type of formulation, which uses a more potent flavor in a blend with some more familiar ones, is exactly what we’d like to see from Sipp. Packaging and messaging are also some of the best that we’ve seen from the brand. The label, which follows the same format as Sipp's recent efforts, is polished and clean. It has a sophisticated and upscale look to it, but is intuitive and to the point. Overall, a really solid addition to the Sipp lineup.
