Over the last 20 years, American cuisine has gone through a revolution. Starbucks made coffee into an art form; Ben and Jerry?s reintroduced us to homemade ice cream; craft beer has exploded while mass produced beer remains stagnant. In short, almost every product that America loves is now made in a better, premium way. Yet soda, by far our most consumed bottled beverage, has remained unchanged. The same chemicals and syrups that were used in 1950s are still being used today. High fructose corn syrup is still the 2nd ingredient after water. Even new soda entries are using flavors, concentrates and sugars as their main ingredients ? or apple and grape juice as fillers. In this way, the great food and beverage revolution has seemingly bypassed sodas. Spindrift hopes to change how America experiences sodas. We start with ultra clean sparkling water, fresh squeezed fruit or berries (pulp and all!), and a dash of cane juice. The result is a light, refreshing, delicious?. soda.
