The Mango Fuego flavor of Suja Elements is another very enjoyable addition to this line of cold-pressed, HPP smoothie drinks. This variety blends apple, mango, banana, baobab, ginger, serrano chili, lime, pink Himalayan sea salt and camu camu. The base of the product tastes like a pretty typical “mango smoothie,” which is a very common flavor that you’ll find in just about every smoothie line out there. However, there are two unique twists to the flavor that ultimately make this a very enjoyable product. First, there’s the chili, which gives the product a very subtle note of heat, acting as almost a counterbalance between the otherwise sweet tropical flavor of the mango. Second is the salt, which is really most noticeable at the drink’s finish. It, too, adds a nice contrast to the sweetness, although there’s definitely a lingering saltiness. All in all, the flavor of this product is very familiar, but unique, and the execution of it is very solid. On the outside, the 12 oz. plastic bottle follows the same style as the rest of the Elements line. It definitely looks like a polished high quality product. And the name, Mango Fuego, is descriptive, but playful, which definitely seems like a good approach for a product like this. Overall, a very well-executed product.
