BevNET Review

Green Greatness is a mainstream-oriented green juice that, like the rest of the Suja line, is USDA Organic and undergoes high pressure processing (which the company refers to as “cold pressured”) technology instead of pasteurization. On the flavor front, this blend is an apple-forward one that features a mellow blend of added greens. You can taste the celery, cucumber, kale and spinach, but the difference in flavor between this variety and Suja's other green juices is definitely subtle. That said, the challenge of standing out -- both between the growing number of flavors in the Suja lineup and other competitors -- is a real one for this product. While the product is initially launching in an “Organic 3-Day Fresh Start” box in Costco stores -- which means that consumers won’t evaluate this flavor on its bottle alone -- we do wonder if the Essentials line could use an additional visual element to help differentiate the flavors. In the meantime, Green Greatness is still an attractive looking and polished product. It’s intuitive (it’s obviously a green juice) and appealing to the senses, while the 12 oz. package size feels like an appropriate single-serve portion. Prime placement of the USDA Organic and non-GMO verification are also pluses. Overall, a solid addition to the lineup, but it does, at least to some extent, feel like more of the same from Suja.
